Ahem.  We tolerate human beings, inferior as they are.

[indignant] There is nothing "common" about chimpanzees, trust us.

That depends on whether they voted for Trump or Hillary.

The first thing that we learn is their voting record, which determines whether they shall be accepted or shunned.

You should have attended our party this weekend -- more fun than (yes) a barrel of monkeys!

I forgot we had our resident Chimp here who could have given some input :)

I actually spent a little while this morning trying to research Bonobo and Common Chimp interactions (in captivity/sanctuaries mostly, since they don't cohabitate in the wild due to geographic differences). Keeping in mind, of course, that a comparison between them is STILL not really relevant to a discussion of race, since they are separate species of Chimp (and not subspecies).

Bonobo's apparently tend to be more aggressive to Chimps not in their "family unit", regardless of whether the Chimp is a Bonobo or Common Chimp. Most other Bonobo's, since they are similar, will be able to "stand up" for themselves. There have been cases of Common Chimps getting "beat up" by Bonobo's because of that (and they used to be placed together more often before they were identified as separate species). I couldn't find any studies to suggest that the behavior was specific to Bonobo/Common Chimp interactions, since apparently Bonobo's do it with other Bonobo's when they aren't part of their family. So they treat "outsider Bonobos" the same as they treat Common Chimps.

If someone introduces a metaphor that is wrong, it should be clearly pointed out as such.

To most of us it is.  Stop trying to lord your superior typing skills over us.  It won’t work.

How is this about typing? It's about using accurate examples and metaphors.

A comparison between how humans of different races interact with how zebras and Giraffes interact is just completely bonkers. Same with "symbiotic relationships".

I don't care about grammar or typing here. I care about accuracy on the subject.

You've been told, in simplified language that even a human being can understand, that it all has to do with voting records.  MASA (Make America Simian Again)!

To return to this thread's topic:  Jeh Johnson (Obama's Homeland Security Sec'y.) admitted frankly to Chris Wallace that DHS had similar detention arrangements for children in 2014 as there are now in 2018.  He said that there were only 95 accommodations and a need for 34,000, so they had to make alternative arrangements.

I’m sure you’re already aware, but the pictures recently used of kids sleeping in caged areas were actually taken in 2014, not recently under the Trump admin.  Just accurate MSM reporting.  Nothing to see here...

Heck, you posted FBI crime stats showing that a small percentage of black males accounted for a large proportion of crimes, and got the gulag for it.  I remember it well.

I have tried to explain that concept to some newer folks, but to most it doesn’t matter, because it didn’t affect them.

To be fair that was when race was the subject of almost every post, odd we have not seen that lately
