Overstayed visa - problems going home?

There’s a big Haitian flag below your username on every post you make. If you only use a cellphone you may not realize this.

Don"t flight on connecting flight, sometimes border patrol agents stand at the door of planes landing domestically. Direct flight is better.

Without a proper traveling document she is risking detention, especially if the airlines refuse to fly her. She should get the traveling documents ASAP.

You go through controls exiting the UK. I can’t remember if they stamp your passport but definitely it’s looked at. I have exit stamps from many a country. The US seems the exception more than the rule here.

Well you go through security controls....

 

Remember going to Paris for the weekend, come back on the Ferry and one of the guys could not find his Passport, so we stuck him in the middle of the back seat and blagged our way in.

 

He thought he lost it in Paris or in the Car, was on the table when he got home.

Does not really make much difference, and to be honest I am not sure, EU has been around since 1993, practicalities have not changed in my memory, well you used to be able as a child to be added to your parents passport and get a short term passport over the counter at the Post Office.

I have Heathrow exit stamps, Moscow exit stamps, etc; surprisingly no Canada exit stamps

Make sure she knows it will be close to impossible to ever come to the US again. As I’m sure you know Haiti is tough on giving out tourist visas- never mind for someone who has misrepresented themselves and overstayed
