Hi guys! So I’m planning to petition my dad soon after I get my fiancé here. My question is: is it possible that I petition him to come here but his point of entry will be in a different state? My uncle have a business here in the US but wants me to bring him to Florida so he can help out. They said they’ll provide any documents I needs is this possible? thank you in advance.

it shouldn't affect your fathers petition. POE can be anywhere. The only ones that matter for this would be Fiance, where you would proof later that he/she is living under one roof with their future spouse.

9/5/2018                     We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time (this is getting boring!!!)

10/3/2018                  We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time (this is insanity, 4th time while some got GC)

10/17/2018                After 136 days of wait in HELL, finally EAD in production

10/21/2018                Card was mailed to me, and yes it said so on a Sunday night, while Vj-ing

10/22/2018                Card was picked up by the USPS

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

Yes I’m USC and it is for parents visa. I can meet the financial requirements but I’m on a complicated situation. My parents are annulled and my mom lives nearby and she doesn’t want him here in NY and that’s when my uncle proposed that he’ll stay with them.
