Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else is in this situation..maybe you can share your experiences

I am on my 3rd year of a TN visa, getting married and will Adjust Status.

I have heard that AOS applications for a foreigner holding some sort of authorization are faster...but not sure that I believe that after reading some posts.

Really the only thing that would possibly (and I use that term loosely  ) would be the FBI name check as you cant have a TN with a criminal record.

Any thoughts/experiences?

Thanks

I'm not sure it's any faster...but then one never knows when dealing with USCIS. Filing AOS would, I assume, be the same as for anyone else. I don't think the TN visa would be valid anymore though, but don't quote me on that. Might want to read the Guides and the FAQ's at the top. Hopefully someone else will happen along and answer far better than me. Good luck!
