Hello Everyone! My concern is in regard with the K3 visa. I heard this will be issued in the country where the marriage took place. I am a filipino citizen who got married in Surrey, British Columbia to an American. We have already filed for the form 129F (K3 visa) and we are just waiting for the 2nd notice of action. We would really like to know if the processing of the packets 3 & 4 as well as the medical examination will take place in Surrey, BC or would it be processed in my country of residence (Philippines). As far as i can remember, we wrote Vancouver as the consular office but we didn't write down my vancouver address. We would really appreciate any feedback coming from you guys!

Visa processing takes place in the country where you live. Your paperwork will be sent from the US to the US consulate in your country. Where do you currently live?

The visa will be issued in the country that the foreign spouse resides ( on the petition and G-325A you put down the foreign spouse address, right?)

01/17/2007 Faxed the checklist to the Immigrant Visa Unit in Frankfurt

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

i live in the philippines but we got married in canada. I heard that the interview will take place where you got married right? so basically, the processing will be in the philippines and my interview will be at the consulate. they will send the packets to my country of residence. correct?
