One of my fiancees is terrified that the medical exam she took in Canada is going to reveal that she hit a tiny puff of the chronic a couple weeks ago. Is that cool, or are they gonna take her down to china town.

Maybe she should have used her brain and actually THOUGHT before she took a hit that it might cause problems with the medical and getting the visa. Maybe they'll let her through, but if they don't because of that little hit, she has nobody to blame but herself.

If something is legal in another country, how can the US punish you for it (as long as the deed was done in that other country)?

11-15-2005: Sent in I-129F to VSC

11-21-2005: NOA1

11-29-2005: NOA2

12-05-2005: NVC recieved

12-17-2005: Packet 3 received from Dublin

1-11-2006: Sent packet 3 forms, etc. to Dublin

2-03-2006: Interview Date :)APPROVED!!!

2-05-2006: Flying to Logan Airport

2-11-2006: Wedding Date

3-14-2006: Filed AOS and EAD

3-22-2006: NOA1 (AOS and EAD)

Common misconception.

Marijuana is not legal in Canada. Someone above mentioned the decriminalization. Basically the possession laws have become so lax and made penalties so minor that most people say that it may as well be legal. However, it's not the same thing.

It's like this, OK... We were just trying to take the edge off, and I feel like people can't understand that. If some immigration officer is gonna give hassle, then I don't even wanna be in this fascisto regime in anyways...

What ever happened to a little 'you scratch my back I scratch yours?' Just hit me with some kind words and something to report back to this babe that's more hopeful than 'she's gonna get thrown in the clink when she gets to the interview! :P ' God, this chick is cryin' up and down over. Hook a brother up.

That way at least we can hit that bubbler and call it a night...ya' feel?
