Hello,

I am a beneficiary of the K1 fiancée. My wife to be is from Seattle, Washington and I'm from County Durham, England

My Fianceè, Kristen and I have filed our 129F on the 18th May 2018 and have received our NOA1 which was received on the 22nd May 2018. Even though we understand that this journey can be long and tedious. We are excited that we have made the progress we have this far.

Does anyone know realistically how long were going to wait for the NOA2?  We are expecting 5-7 months for our NOA2. Any advice ideas? Stories of quick process?

If anyone wishes to reach out we are more than happy and willing to extend our advice and support! This website is a great network.

All the best and good luck everyone,

Kind Regards,

Owen :)

Good luck. Your received date is three days before ours.

There's no real way to know how processing times will change between now and the time they get to us, by VJ averages ( http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical ) they were apparently increasing a lot from 2016 to late last year, then had a very slight downward trend which has reversed in the last couple of months.

There's a thread for May filers here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/671339-may-2018-k1-filers though I expect it will be awhile before there's much news there.

Hey,

I appricate your post. Very insightful and informative. I was actually looking for a May filers page so thank you.

It's great to see people who have submitted at the same time as us!

Good luck and all the best!

Kind Regards,

Owen

Best wishes!

It's a very long, trying process. It will try your patience, your sanity, and your relationship but if the love is true you will survive and the light at the end of the long tunnel is worth it. We filed mid October 2017 and my fiance just had his interview last week. He's waiting for them to send his passport back with the visa. The process from start to finish is going to be anywhere from 9-12 months. Our approval came right at 6 months.
