Hi!

I have a really quick question, sorry if it's an issue or a bother!

I recently changed residence (well, living in the new place already but still bringing stuff from our old home, we got till the end of the month), and I was going to update my new Address on the Uscis site but i have a question:

When choosing the "form Sub type" (main type being an i-485, since i did an Adjustment of Status from a student visa), which is the correct option to pick? I assumed its either "family based adjustment" or "other", but I want to make triple sure of anything i do with USCIS at this point.

Thank you so very much for any help!

You would check the the one that matches your AOS basis. If your AOS is based on family based petition, then choose family based adjustment. If it’s based on employment, choose employment based adjustment...and so on.

Your AOS is based on a family based petition then, so Family based adjustment.

Alright sorry, just one more question:

In the field " In the U.S. as" what option should i put between Permanent Resident, Visitor, Student or Other?

I came in as a student, but currently not going to college until we finish all this process, so i'm not too sure ^^;

If you have stopped going to school on F1 visa, then your F1 status in no longer valid so you would out your status as “Other-Pending AOS”.
