I am chaperoning a trip of hs students to ENgland next summer and they all want to attend an EPL game...what teams play in London

Chelsea are the biggest, Arsenal are another. Chelsea has a huge posh stadium though, lots of shops, football store, stuff like that. Called Stamford Bridge, my son is a big fan and had a day trip there once, loved every minute of it.

Other options might be Tottenham or Fulham, or West Ham (someone help me out here -- are they going to be relegated?).

I live near the Arsenal stadium, and match days are HELL! I have occasionally surfaced from the tube to discover myself in a sea of Arsenal supporters and police on horseback and helicopters hovering overhead... when all I want to do is hop on a bus home. (Afraid I'm not a fan...but I'm sure you'll have a great time! )

They've already moved -- I live near the new, swanky Emirates stadium, round the back of the Nag's Head shopping area off the Holloway Road. I'm about 1/2 mile up the Holloway Road from it but match days, especially daytime Saturday games bring utter traffic chaos.

That's why I get Tesco to deliver my groceries on Saturday instead of doing it meself!

Edit to say: I can't believe I used the word "swanky" in the same sentence as "Nag's Head" and "Holloway Road"...

Not sure you could expect to get tickets for any of them.

Best bet would be Fulham if they are playing unfancied opposition.

And do not call it EPL, a term unknown outside of USA.

The season finishes soon, so it depends on what you mean by Summer, Football is a winter game.

Probably better looking for one of the Championship games, Charlton, Palace etc.

They don't play Premiership games until late in the summer. The season runs from late August to May. As for teams:

Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Fulham, West Ham (maybe). As others have mentioned, getting tickets will be hard as games are often sold out.

Even when I was a ardent 44 game per season person, I would personally avoid going to Millwall back when my lot where in the same division as them. Thankfully Millwall are just an unlikely cup tie these days!

Try Ticketmaster, they usually have football tickets available, I am sure they will be happy to help, or email Customer services at which ever ground you would like to go too, say it's for students blah blah.

My ex local team, everybody hates us and we don't care!

Been in the away end twice, lived to tell the tale, last time we were kept in for nearly an hour.

Certainly would be a cultural experience. A few beers beforehand in the local boozer and a chippie afterwards.
