I am confused here with the affidavit of support. I am bringing my mom here to the US and I am having my husband to be my cosponsor with my petition. My question is, I know I need to fill out the i864a, but do I need to fill out the I864 as well?

 

I appreciate all the response. Thank you!

hi

 

you don't fill out the i864A, your husband does

 

as the petitioner, you are the primary sponsor, so you will fill out the i864. your husband as the household member will fill out the i864A

 

only one affidavit of support per person
