I need to travel back to the US soon for a couple weeks so I'll be reaching out to them again to see if that will cause any problems. Currently I've been in PH without leaving for longer than 6 months.

It shouldn't, but again, it's open to interpretation. When I was living in Mexico I traveled out of the country frequently for both family and work reasons. It didn't cause an issue as my primary residence was still Mexico, those trips were just short vacations. Same as if you were living in the US and traveled to Europe for a few weeks. You may not be in the country but your home still is.

06/27/2017: NOA1 (technically a RFE as we were missing beneficiary ID)

07/06/2017: NOA2

07/12/2017: Case assigned by Juarez embassy

07/17/2017: Packet 3 received

08/15/2017: Interview/Approval!

08/22/2017: Visa received via DHL

09/03/2017: POE

09/16/2017: Permanent Resident Card received

 

Total days from NOA1 to approval: 49
