I have a job lined up, ready, waiting for me to fill out my I-9 paperwork. My I-751 is still being processed or whatever it is they are doing in Cali right now.

I have an infopass appointment this friday to try and get a I-551 stamp in my passport. That is the only way I will be able to start work.

I have been out of work for a while now, since before I filed my ROC. It is the reason we filed 2 days late. Financial problems. My mum ended up sending some money over to pay the fee on the application.

I expect a RFE sometime in the future because of the late thing.

Anyway, what should I ask them?
Or how should I ask them for the stamp?
Should I bring anything to the appointment other than what they told me?

People have said they can be ####### and not help you out. :/

Wife did an infopass and I551 stamp a few weeks ago, letter expires late June.

10 minutes and she was done.

Now the people at the window before her were declined as they tried 90 days before expiration.

You should be able to fill out the I-9 paperwork with your SSN and DL only. They never asked me for my extension letter or Green card. Even now that I'm approved and still don't have a Green card and expired extension letter, I got a new job and I-9 only needed my SSN and DL and A# number. But I guess it depends on the company.

My SSC is restricted. So I am not able to use it for the I-9

My only option is a stamp.
