:P

We did this exercise in one of my classes one time...it just popped into my brain. Say something nice about a member of this site...it can be anyone, and can be about anything. The only "rule" is not to say anything bad (or alluding to it, or smart azz remark and then ;) ...you know what I mean!) I myself don't have anyone in mind in particular, I just thought it might be fun and uplifting to whoever reads about his/herself. :) I'll start:

I admire Stina (and Sujeet) on this board for the way they always stand up for what they believe without being rude, condescending, or preachy.

Sharon and MarilynP are very cool beans, both of 'em....they crack me up and are people I could see myself having a *great* time with IRL. It's really cool to see Sharon's love for animals (love the piccys!) and to see how involved she is with her daughter...she's obviously a really great mom! Marilyn is obviously a really good cook, too...I wouldn't mind eating at her home any night of the week! :P

There are lots more I could say, but that's good for now...let's try to keep this going for a little bit! :) M.

Awwwww Michelle, you're SO sweet! :luv: What a wonderful way to start off my day!

Saying that you think I'm a great Mom means more than you know. As you know, I have 2 older kids too, a 24 year old girl and my son is 19. I kinda feel like Alli, who is now 11, is my last chance to get this "Mom thing" right! haha

Well of course, now I gotta "do" you...lol.

Let's see...what vibes do I get...hmmmm...

I think Michelle is a lot like me hehe except that she can hold her temper in check a lot better than I can.

She is very patient and realizes that old saying that "Good things come to those who wait." She has a deep love for her son and hubby.

She is dedicated and works hard and has been working her very hardest going to school to make a better life for herself and her family.

She tend to worry a lot about every little thing like I do but in the end it will all work out right.

Yeah....maybe one day we just might get together, girl!

Thanks Michelle.

You're sweet! And you are proving your perseverance by how you quit smoking. I admire that! Keep up the good work.

I remember doing something like this awhile ago on here. I just worry cuz I don't want to leave anyone out!!

I'm not really close friends with a lot of people here, but still there are many I enjoy communicating with even if we aren't close. But after being around here for over 3 years, I can't just say one or two people.

Ok...here goes, though I might have to be back later to add more. :P

I enjoy Jenn3539's wit and funny avatars. She's sweet too! Glad to know her.

Marilyn is very genuine and kind. And she knows how to lighten the mood when it gets tense around here. :D

Laura (lal_brandow) is very fun to talk to, and I have gotten to know her a lil better over the years on VJ. And we live in the same 'hood(well, probably 30-40 miles apart lol), so that is awesome. :P Maybe one day we'll actually meet!

ace13, Cassie, Scott&Lai, & CherryXS all have given me good Christian encouragement. They all stand for what they believe in too. (there are others too!) I appreciate not being the only "crazy christian" around here, they are good company. :D Thanks guys! God bless...

AnaandDaniel...good ol' Uncle Daniel, (haha! don't kill me :innocent: ) he's a goof, but under it he is very kind.

I have probably bothered Gupt with the most questions about Indian culture and problems related to blending cultures, and he has graciously answered them each time. He is also funny. And no matter how mean he tries to appear on VJ, he is actually nice!

Erekose is well spoken(or well written I should say). Also gives good advice. I respect his opinions even if I don't always agree.

Ok well that's all for now...there are others too who I really enjoy communicating with, but I'll come back later!

I don't have any specific names to mention but I really appreciate everyone here who has ever helped me or given me advice.

I also think the people who hang out here long after their journeys are over, giving advice to other people...taking the time to look stuff up and reassure complete strangers who are anxious and stressed out...are awesome.

Also, whoever set this site up...you did a great thing. Whoever moderates this place does an incredible job of keeping the peace.

Lastly, to everyone who has given me a second chance after seeing how b!tchy I can be when I'm hormonal/stressed/acting like an idiot....thank you. I appreciate it very much...more than you can know.

I'm thankful for the other crazi Canucks & their spouses around here who have empathized and encouraged us along the way. We are totally indebted to them all...

Flames, Krikit, Autumnchik, CutienPurg, Caladan, Mozplay and Misa come to mind.. Those guys have given us laughs galore and advice and just all around good memories of this place. I am also amazed at the knowledge of Zyggy – he knows his stuff, and has taught me a thing or two!
