It took 3 months and a week. That's including the whole process of the NVC requesting additional documentation and submitting it.

Holy #######. 3 months on top of 13 months we have already waited for I130 approval. That really sucks.

Thanks for your response

Yes, it does suck. We just gotta be patient, that's all that's left. I have a friend who started his process in April last year and the NVC still hasn't approved his documents. I started the process in June and I'm ahead.

Our NVC case was completed (documentarily qualified) 12 days after submitting the final documents, and we had an interview date 8 days later. We didn't have any extra document requests. The NVC stage actually went very quickly for us, only 25 days from receiving our case number to receiving an interview date (that doesn't include the transit time from USCIS to NVC and waiting for the case number).

Oh that's great. Did the NVC give you options to choose from for the appointment? Or did they just gave you the date?

They gave us an initial date, but we were easily able to reschedule through the embassy in Japan as we needed another couple of weeks to guarantee having the medical results in time for the interview.

12th business day was today for us since we submitted all of our documents to NVC. No response. Safe to say we are not there yet lol

Thank you. We are in the NVC stage now, everything got accepted but one document rejected. Hopefully once we send that document, we can get our CC within 2 weeks or less, wishful thinking lol.
