DO I PAY I-864 FEE TWO TIMES IF I USE CO-SPONSOR

Hi,

I tried calling the NVC for the past 2 days but all operators are busy and I still dont have an answer to my question. I am using a co-sponsor for my I-864 and want to know if because I am submitting 2 of the I-864's (mine and his) will I pay 2 I-864 fees? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi I did not have a co-sponsor but as far as I know, you do NOT need to pay two fees, only one.

I know this is strange...me answering my own question but I FINALLY got through to the NVC and found out that you only pay a one-time 70.00 fee PER CASE, not per I-864. Hope this can help someone else in the future too.

I had a co-sponser, an we only paid one fee. This was at the embassy in islamabad, not sure about other embassy's.
