Why is Houston field office so slow??

So our case said ready for an interview since October 2017, but now when we log in it has the date as March 2018. Why would they suddenly update it, with the same message, but with a different date?? Craziness.. it’s been since OCTOBER, listing March doesn’t change that. I do not understand the USCIS.

Nope, except that our case history shows now "ready to be scheduled for an interview since March 15, 2018" instead of "September 22, 2017" as of before, lol.
I quit checking my USCIS online account and do it maybe once every two weeks or so. Just sick and tired of the wait and accepted the situation.

New driver’s license came in the mail today. We got it renewed based on pending I-485 since the EAD expired this week. So we are back in waiting mode.

At one of the DPS in Houston?

What documents do they ask for? Just EAD?

How strange is that! I wonder why that happened.

Same here!  Except ours changed from “We are scheduling your interview” dated July 13, 2017 to “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” dated March 14, 2018.  The previous record no longer shows on the case history.

if the new date was an August or September (2018) date, I’d think they were changing their reporting system again or something like that, but the fact that they are deleting records and back-dating the changes sounds like shenanigans.
