I've not received anything from them besides a request for evidence back in May 2016 which I responded. Ever since, my online status has been stuck on we received your response to our request for evidence. I've submitted several service requests and went for one info pass. All turned out to be useless. The last 2 service request response I got was that they were ready to make a decision or I should have received another notice from them last December, but that didn't happen. contacted congressman and was told my status is undergoing background check. meanwhile that's what they told me in the entirety of 2016 through 2018 until that last service request where they said they were ready to make a decision or I should I have received another correspondence from them. So now I am confused...just have to keep waiting.

Your PD is way passed the USCIS processing listed. Have you involved a lawyer? DHS-7001 form? Background checks takes like 3 days from Biometrics. What are they checking? Do you have a complex case?
