Petition approved for F3 category

priority date 22nd april 2006.

AOS FEES AND DS-260 submitted.

civil documents submitted.

question arries for sponser.

number of immigrants:3

original petitioner is retired & depends only on Social security income.

so immigrants need joint sponser.

now joint sponser is married couple.

they file tax return as married.

So male(husband) needs to fill form i-864 and her wife needs to fill form i-864A.??

I am asking because couple who will be the joint sponser is married and file tax return together.

if above is correct,in i 864 form i need to select only option 1(d) “i am the only joint sponser”

kindly help.

thanks.

husband and wife both have to submit I-864 and I-864A

means husband needs to fill two forms(I-864 and I864A) and wife also needs to fill two forms(I-864 and I-864A)

hi

not correct,  it is one affidavit of support per person.

the petitioner will file the i864 regardless of income

the joint sponsor will file the i864 as the only joint sponsor, the wife will file the i864A as his household member to combine income
