Good day,

My US-Citizen fiancee is now completing our I-29F Application. She have all the original receipts (Restaurants, Hotels) with her, My question is, does she need to submit the original receipts or only just a scanned copy of it and save the originals for me for the US Embassy interview? Thanks.

Scanned copy is fine.

The instructions for the form is always a thing to read.  This is plainly answered there

I don't know why so many people suggest including receipts for restaurants, shopping, etc....

I realize every reviewer is different as is each case, yada yada.

In my opinion, the only receipts you need are of your travel arrangements such as hotels and flights.

Be sure to include lots good pictures. Pictures should be able to tie you a location pretty easily.

Pictures are secondary evidence and can be faked.  They are not the best evidence

YMMV
