Omg, I can't believe I finally got my interview date!  It's going to be exactly a year and 10 days after I filed my N-400. My I-751 is still pending though. I know they combined the two cases at one point, but there isn't any update on that. I'm wondering If I should mention it on my interview day.

6 weeks after my interview my oath letter has been mailed. Waiting on that has been more tiring than the rest of the process as I was checking every day wondering why they haven’t scheduled it yet. At least once I find out when it is I’ll be able to relax and plan the rest of my summer.

I received the text notification today morning that oath ceremony has been scheduled . Waiting for the letter to show up online.

I checked with the middle tennessee court where the oath ceremonies take place and  she told me that this month they have scheduled for 20,21 and also additionally 27 and 28 just for this month. I am pretty sure you would be in one of these days if your center is still Nashville.

Hello Friends,

Had my combo interview on 4th june and it was all good. IO did not see a single document during i751 interview. Some personal questions how we met and about families. There was no video recording.

After that she said i was approved of i751 and if I wanted she can allow my wife to be there for n400 interview or else she can ask my wife to leave and wait in waiting area. I requested my wife to stay with me. I answered all 6 questions and was approved. It was san jose field office. Interview was at 2.00 for combo and 3 for n400. However we went in at 2.30 and were done by 3.30 pm.

Oath is scheduled for 20th june.

I wish everyone in line all the best. Thanks.

The end result is, but the idea of driving to Nashville, standing/sitting around for a few hours for a ceremony and then driving back home isn't very appealing. I tend to avoid formal events if I can so I'm hoping the ceremony won't drag on and I can get in and out as fast as possible.

I wish! The USCIS site originally said August 2019 for hubby's approximate date and now its saying March 2020! I pray that's wrong. Cant wait for all this waiting to be over!!
