We do get those random "reviewing your case" notifications on the N400 case; my husband got his 10 year green card July 10th (whew) hope yours comes very soon!

Hey pherNfer! Did you get your N400 Interview notice yet? I got a notification today of my interview. ATL filer

We got our interview in Atlanta notification!! Filed online on the 4th of July, 2018 (fitting), notification letter sent 4/10/19 with an interview on 5/16/19. We feel like this has been fast for Atlanta as they are struggling with personnel changes/shortages.

Congrats to you!! How long did it take for the letter to be posted in the document section after you received the notification email?? Cant wait for our interview letter too and get ready for it.

We got notification in the snail mail, we still have not gotten an email notification. Evidently the letter was mailed on April 10th and we got it April 15th; the document is posted online. Of note, we moved about 5 months ago and changed our address in the USCIS system immediately after that but the mailed letter came to and was forwarded from our old address; quite concerning as we are coming up against our forwarding expiration!

I got my letter for the N-400 interview, but my I-751 is still pending. I understand sometimes a combo interview happens for both applications. Is there any way to know how my case will be handled?

Also what are the best guides out there to prepare for either the I-751 and N-400 interviews? I think have memorized all the answers for the civics test, but how else can my wife and I prepare?

Thank you beautiful people!

They "did that" what? The InfoPass interview?

Yes, LA accepts InfoPass! Are you saying my odds are better if I explain my situation first? Or should I just call and ask?

Thank you!

Make an Infopass schedule so you can visit your field office and explain to them that you have pending I-751 and got the interview notice for N-400, ask them if they can do as a combo interview (I-751/N-400 respectively.)

Calling customer service wont help at all, they can just give you the information that you have online.

Thank you. I had an InfoPass just the other day for the passport stamp. The way it works is that customer support will screen the call and determine if an InfoPass interview is valid. Nevertheless, I love that idea. I will do just that thank you!

I had my interview today in Nashville and it was pretty straight forward. It only took about 5 minutes and the immigration officer was very friendly. The use of tablets for the English writing test is a bit awkward as I usually rest my hand on paper when I write but I managed a legible sentence and passed the interview. Now I'm inline for the Oath Ceremony so it's just a case of waiting. My USCIS account status hasn't updated yet when I do a search on the USCIS site it has so they're out of sync again, I'll just have to keep an eye on both.

We received a notification that an action was taken on our case but it's just to let us know that our application was "transferred to another field office for review" because they are taking too long. ####### does that mean?? I've never heard of that.
