How many times do we (immigration community) shake our heads and say, "There's got to be a better way?" Countless, I imagine.

Please give us some of that karma, lol.

Also after the fingerprinting what was the Estimated Time to Completion.

After my biometrics, it went from 12 to 11. until now it's still 11 months. Today I got another appointment with the sme schedule but it's for my I-751. Digging all the documents I submitted because they provided me the list of what my husband and I need to bring for our i-751 interview. I hope it goes smooth. We have a 13yr old and a 2 yr old with us on that day. I still don't know how we will do it but my 13yr old kept assuring me he will watch his brother while Daddy and I are having are interview :) fingers crossed that my toddlebeast doesn't throw a tantrum!!!

So my status on USCIS website is still like " USCIS can't provide you any information at this time" and on DHS is reviewing your biometrics! I called the customer service number that was there and they had to transfer me to talk to an officer and he told me they don't know about that and it's a network issue and I should contact the net department 😐😒. I'm not going to call them, I'll just keep checking the DHS website, but it's so annoying! 5E44E9B3-9648-42AF-A443-85ECF6C65A3B.jpeg.e30e7a84937da2dee08416ddf7280131.jpeg.c48dcbb547125732a1ce3b5463ae66dd.jpeg.57f3bda4c180ba655338805e80900603.jpeg

Today I received a notice via post stating that my husband's 18 month extension letter has been sent through the mail. The problem is that this notice was sent to our old apartment (rerouted to our new apt. via USPS) even though I had changed our address through the online USCIS change of address form. Now I am thinking that the physical 18-month extension letter was actually sent to our old apartment.

Did anyone receive a physical notice of mailing prior to receiving their actual 18-month extension letter?

I'm thinking I will have to call USCIS which I absolutely despise. Anyone have a similar issue?

It's my understanding that the My Case Status is phasing/phased out. 10 year green card arrived a week ago and My Case still shows as received.

I agree 100%. I didn’t imagine all the hussles, tons pf papers and money to do this. The processing times absolutely unreal. We are in the 21st century and we are still waiting for a letter to be delivered by the snail mail!!

My wife submitted her N-400 on 4 July 2018. She already did the biometrics appointment but today we received a letter for the naturalization interview scheduled on 3 Oct 2018.

She currently has an I-751 in process too and received a second extension letter for that a few weeks ago.
