Nice!  I also did mine today in NYC.  About 15 people ahead of me when I arrived at 7.40am for an 8.00am appointment.  But like you, once inside it was 15 minutes and out.  Now curious as to when the online my account status will update and if it updates the expected timeline too.

Yeah me too, I guess need to wait at least two days for any updates in the system after it's completed. Will see...

Just got a notification today on uscis account, it says they reviewed my biometrics.Also the timeline dropped to 14 month instead of 17 ( Fort Myers office FL.)

That's good!  I got the same update on my account, however the timeline increased from 8 months to 9 months... lol!

I'm curious how accurate is that, and how long it usually takes to get in line for an interview after all ? 

You are lucky with 9 months timeline, mine is so much longer...

hello, may I ask, as you said that on your uscis account dhs, it says they reviewed your biometric, ,   So how about if you check on egov.uscis.gov / case status, what they show,  thanks,   as my case, the timeline was not change even after I done biometric, you r lucky if your timeline has been dropped.

On egov.uscis.gov / case status, no changes, still shows I was scheduled for biometrics.

I think so, and I trust more dhs account since it's more accurate.

For me the egov still says Biometrics scheduled.  In the past egov has updated faster for me than the MyAccount one.

Good question... not sure of the answer.  I do think there is at least some science to it as it broadly tracks reports on this forum about local office processing times.  I was surprised (pleasantly, of course) o learn that NYC is apparently faster than many other large metro areas.

Finally had the chance to jump on here and post! I was surprised that I was scheduled for an interview a week after I got my Bio done - but I will take anything just to get this done and over with... wish me luck!!!
