Hi There! Same here. I had my biometric on Tuesday at Elizabeth NJ ASC, and the guy only scanned my right-hand 4 fingerprints. I asked him twice if that is all that was really needed. And he said, "Yeah, that's what the screen asks for". 

 

Glad to know actually that I'm not the only one after reading your post. Lol. :)

Yup, I found out it's the norm. Also, it took 1 day for them to update my status. Now it shows estimated wait time of 10 months and case completion time 11 months. Don't think this is accurate, but either way my office is for Newark NJ too. what's your NOA date?

Hi there, 

I just filed N 400 online a week ago and today I got the letter for fingerprints Aug, 10 2018 at Santa Rosa CA Service  Center. My status said my case will take 14 months (September 2019) which is I am afraid it will take longer. And my concerned is my GC (10 years base on married) will expired July, 8 2019 which is like a month before my case is done if I am lucky with my timeline they gave me. My question is " Do I need to get my GC extended even though I am not planning to travel during that time?" Is there anybody experienced something like this recently? I know I have a year to worry about it but would be nice if I have some info in advanced😊 thank you. June

I was worried that I did not see the Biometric Notice in my Documents tab. But this notice just updated and I think it will show in couple days.

I'm in the same situation but everywhere seems to say if you have 6 months or more left on your green card when you apply for citizenship then you don't need to worry about it expiring. Not too sure what happens if you fail the interview, but I don't plan on finding out.

5/15/2019 - Interview Scheduled for 06/20/2019

5/15/2019 - sent out a request to reschedule the interview

5/23/2019 - interview rescheduled to 06/26/2019

6/13/2019 - interview rescheduled to 07/13/2019

7/13/2019 - interview. Approved the same day, online status changed.

08/27/2019 - oath ceremony scheduled @ Alexandria court (name change) for 09/26/2019

Hello Everyone 

 

Has anyone done biometric for the N-400 without having the Green Card. My one year extension is expired they took the green card and stamped my passport with another extension. So I will take with my passport and the Biometric notice. Let me hear your experience please.

Don't worry. I got the online notification like 4 days before I actually got the mail. You're going to get the mail, but even if you didn't, just print it out and take it to the Application Center.

I have the same timeline as yours - Filed online on 7/24 and biometric notice online on 7/28.
My biometric appointment is scheduled for 8/17
