Approved June 1st for 129f, received my Noa 2 and am curious about next steps (I’ve read differing steps and timelines so I’m hoping for more up to date advice). I am leaving to be with my fiancée in a week and will be there for 1.5 months. What should I be gathering before I go, and what are the next steps? I would love to be able to bring her back with me so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My interview is next week here in bogota. Everything in this embassy is easy. You just have to wait 2 weeks for your NVC number. Ones you have it go ahead and  fill up the DS160 . Really easy. You don’t have to wait for the letter of the embassy for the package 3/4 but ones your status says READY at CEAC you can pay the fees and book the appointment. Mine took 1 month just because I took 2 weeks to pay the fees after it said READY. normally you can get an appointment within 2 weeks from the moment you pay the fees.

Good luck. If you need any help just PM me.

Thank you! I’m so happy too this is been a long journey but thanks God is almost over. I had to fly from Cartagena a week before because I’m traveling with my kid and had to do the TB test and wait for the results. Any way make sure to bring original divorce decree I’m case one of both of you are divorce. And also affidavit of support needs wet signature also. Nothing need to be translate if is in Spanish or English.

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️

Hey, I've got a question about the original divorce decree in Bogota. Do you know what they consider to be "Original"? In Nevada, the Court simply files the decree and mails a copy. So, all I ever received is a copy with a file stamp from the Court. It could be any old copy or printout. Do you know whether I need to go get some type of officially notarized, verified "original" from the Court? I'll check here, but any help would be appreciated.

Also, if I got my NOA2 just yesterday, with a date of Oct. 11, is it realistic for us to be able to get an interview in Bogota prior to Thanksgiving? (I'll be back in Medellin visiting her for a week or two just before Thanksgiving week and would love to go with her to the embassy). Also, how many days should we plan to spend in Bogota?  Sorry for all the questions, I'll do my own checking but any input from someone who has gone through the process recently in Bogota would be greatly appreciated. :) GRACIAS!
