Some receive NO touches before approval others get a few just before, and still others get many throughout the waiting period. No rhyme or reason to what USCIS is doing.

Patience is called for during this process.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I know, there's a member here who got three touches and then an approval. I forgot who. I was hoping he showed up so I can see his timeline.

Good Luck guys.

Back in December I received 3 touches on my I-130. But it wasn't until a week later that I discovered (via online status) that the first touch was the NOA2 approval. Good luck to you!

Who here has received three touches then an approval? Please, I'm desperate. Post your experiences. I have so many touches.

Your desperate? Why? Be happy your file is getting some attention. We received touches that meant nothing and our final touch was an approval. No way to know for sure.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

If I don't get approval by the end of the week, or early next week I'm going to try a congressional inquiry. With that many touches, something must be wrong. I am not a terrorist nor do I support them. I never have any criminal records. Never done anything illegally. Not a drug user. Something is up.

According to my count you are sitting about 70 days into the process and you act as if you have waited forever. You could have a long ways to wait. I would be a bit more patient, mine took about the same amount of time and I felt fortunate.

It's the occurance of touches on the file. I submitted extra stuff to indicate that my wife is legit, and labeled each one on the table of contents page. Everything is organized. Why do I have multiple touches when everything is orderly? And, no records of breaking the law on my background since I have no problems with it.

All of my documents submitted also have the official Royal Kingdom of Cambodia seal on them. It's all legit. There shouldn't be a need to have a high amount of touches.

From what I understand...a "touch" doesn't necessarily mean that they are even working on your file. It could just mean it was moved from one place to another, and every time they do that, it gets scanned in as a touch. Being touched doesn't necessarily mean it will or won't be approved. Unfortunately, patience is the name of the game here.

Try to hold off and go by the more accurate approval timelines. I am at the VSC; the month before last it was 28 days. This month it is 33. Based on the time of the year the times are increasing but not radically. If I get to 45 days I am going to be concerned.
