Hello!! I was just wondering, did you send your medical in your aos packet?

I just got my courtesy letter for the medical today, dated aug 3, 2018. My case status online says ready to be scheduled for interview since aug 6.

Yeah. I called uscis and the lafy told me to go ahead and do it. It won't take a year for the interview to be scheduled. Thats probably true for most field office, not houston.

I guess i'll wait for the actual interview notice to be sure.

Hello

just wanted to add to this topic.

I read someone saying that the Houston office is already interviewing past Feb 2017. It might be true for some cases, but I am Jan 2017 (marriage-based) and still waiting ("Ready to Schedule Interview" since March 2017, no RFEs).

I went for Infopass a few days ago, they looked it up and said everything's ready (background checks and all), just gotta wait for scheduling. I don't know what the rationale is when sending interview notices, I don't know if it's purely based on PD. I stupidly forgot to ask if my file is physically at the field office, but oh well.

Anyway, just wanted to share this. It's been a long time now and the wait is tough, I guess everyone can relate.

Thanks for update!
We know for SURE that they have done past Feb 2017. The issue is we don't know what date they are on/what mechanism they choose to use to interview folks
most of the people on here waiting are June 2017 onwards

I heard that even if the letter says nothing about doing the Medical again. What if they ask for one at the interview? You would have more delays in getting approved.

What is your RD on EAD/AP? I had a RFIE but my EAD was approved after 308 days from RD only to be sent to the wrong address. I am still waiting and my RD is 10/4/17.

I feel your pain. We are on day 159 waiting for the combo card renewal.  It seems everything at USCIS got a lot slower when the OIG let them off the hook in the March report.
