Entering US from Iceland aiport

Its me again,

Ive found a flight from Manchester UK to Keflavik Iceland to Kansas city missouri.

 

I dont ever recall seeing a customs and border area at Kansas city. 

 

Does thar mean my POE is in Iceland and will they take my envolope and forward onto the USA?

 

I looked on the CBP website but didnt find Iceland as a port.

 

Has anyone flown from there home country to USA via KEF and can shed some light

Kansas City is an international Airport and has Customs and Border Control

I couldnt see it and was in 2 minds on wether to get that flight or not.
