correcting form 129F

what is the contact information or process to make a correction on an already filed form 129f with no action taken except an acceptance letter?

What type of correction do you need to make?

I had to include some addresses and employment info that I omitted initially (those ones of the past 5 years), so I went on their new website, logged in and requested a correction for a typographical error. I wrote that I omitted this specific information on form xx, page xx, item xx, and asked them to please include it in my petition (with of course all the details of the correction). 

 

They responded about 2 weeks later with this message:

Type of service requested:
-- Typographical Error

 

The status of this service request is:

On 05/27/2018, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your FORM I-129F to notify us about an informational or typographical error on your petition. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved. 

We have corrected the information in the file with the information you provided during this contact.  

Your form I-129F is within current processing times. Please see Web site at www.uscis.gov for current California Service Center (CSC) processing times. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do

 

..."

 

Besides that, we also wrote a physical (cover) letter with the same message and then the additional form pages with all the information that was missing, and sent it to the Service Center that is processing our case. We included our names, receipt numbers, dates of birth... (we never heard back from them though).

 

So basically, I don't know if it was whether just the typographical request, or it plus the mailed letter, but at least we got that answer and we will hopefully avoid an RFE.

I did not check the box "yes". I filed for a 129F 18 years ago and forgot. I needed to change and check box yes and add her name. Nothing else is remembered.
