Beard or no beard for Biometrics?

This might be a silly question for some. However, I've been looking everywhere for an answer and nothing comes out.

Should I shave my beard and mustache for my N-400 biometrics appointment? It's not long at all but in my past biometric appointments I didn't have it. Does that complicate things in some way?

Up to you whether you want to be clean-shaven or not.  It does not complicate anything in any way.  

Just keep in mind that the photo taken at the biometrics will be used as the photo on your  naturalization certificate---so really a personal choice whether you want a photo with a beard, or a photo without.
