Honestly after reading your post and rereading the OP's post again I honestly think the mix up is that the CO MIGHT have thought she was a bar girl due to the lack of evidence, age, and picture in a bar. But like I said that is just my thoughts so don't go be getting mad at me.

On the plus side, her family gets to be there for the wedding. That is not insignificant. From my own experience in my own 4 year marriage, what seems like little things at one time, end up being huge down the road. This might be one of those cases. Got lemons, start making lemonade.

Hmmm...yeah makes you wonder...good point. Doesn't seem like the case from the OP's post...kinda a touchy subject to ask her about, she might not like it.

Yeah I know right.... But I am just saying that due to the lack of evidence possibly, lack of visits, and picture in a bar. We had a picture of us in a restaurant but never a bar.

There has to be more to this story. Not to discount your fiancees credibility but all we know is what she said transpired during the interview. Maybe wrong questions answered? As others mentioned here history of applying for benefits? I think theres multiple factors in play here.

As others have stated...you should get an official denial letter I believe, but sounds like you may have to file a CR-1 (which you are aware of already). Sorry for another delay, better visit a few times (it'a always fun there!) and gather better evidence (pictures with family). My wife and I have a fairly large age gap but we never show pictures of going to a disco (not our thing), we had plenty of pictures with family and I went there twice before filing. But your evidence now will be much different then for the K-1, which I'm sure you are aware of. Anyways, anything is possible if you stay persistent and the love is genuine.

Yup. Age difference, especially with female being younger is not an issue I've seen from the Philippines. I know there was another gay couple, Filipino was like 22 and the USC petitioner was 60 I think and with one visit. Approved, no issues. There's something else to this story.

I disagree.  The age difference was not likely the reason for the denial.  Perhaps we are not getting the entire story here.  I am 37 years older than my Pinay spouse.  I have a feeling if petitioner had been at the interview as I was he could have answered some questions and put the CO's mind at ease.  We married in the Philippines on my first visit with a Protestant Pastor.  No classes required.  It was only 40 or so days after we first met on-line.    I visited her, proposed three days later and we were married 4 days after that.  I visited her two more times for upwards of a month at a time.  I attended the interview with her and the CO asked me more questions than they did her.  I am 90% sure that had I not been there she would have been denied.  Hopefully the OP will attend the interview the next time around by way of a CR-1.

Pictures are a funny thing, people see different things in Pictures. Age difference shows up in Pictures a lot.

This wont help. Once denied K1 is dead. 

 

your best shot is CR1. Marry her visit her few time more before the cr1 interview. Spend time with her family and friends - don't be tourist.. go visit her family as a son in law and spend time. 

 

PH is the easiest embassy so far.

One must also remember that the interview process is a cumulative thing.  It probably was not a single issue, such as the age gap, that caused the rejection as many with large age gaps are approved.  But just given the brief scenario given by the OP, red flags are there.  Large Age gap, single visit, and even the 1 3/4 years since visiting are all red flags.  Then combine it with the ill advised bar photo and other possible red flags not mentioned (large income or educational gaps, prior history with USCIS... etc can all be flags) and the CO chose to deny.  It is a subjective opinion, not an objective one.  However, as others have stated,  the K1 is dead, its best to move on and begin the CR1 route while building a strong body of evidence.
