Honestly? To give back the help I received.

And you do that a thousandfold, Rebecca.

My visa journey has not yet started although I have been here 2 years now.

I still pop by to check on ppl's progress and chat with friends I have made and get involved with some convos

And to have my PMs edited.

Really?

It probably isn't someone sticking their nose into your inbox, more than likely a keyword or phrase that is highlighted on the database. When that word is used, whether it be in PMs or on the board, it is deleted.

A pal of mine did something similar for April Fool's on her board. Whenever anyone had typed a certain key word she made the board exchange it for "oops sorry, I farted".

Right - that makes sense if there is a valid reason for the keyword or phrase to be highlighted.

In this case, there was definitely no valid reason whatsoever. And personally I'm not too hot on a board that thinks it's ok to censor valid, immigration related information that I provide to another member in a PM.

I try to keep up with any information on removing conditions but also enjoy reading the posts and, when possible, helping others with this stressful journey. I figure when Claudeth gets her 10 year card I will most likely fade away.

I noticed something funky with my sig lately. I had links posted that got re-spelled and ended up linking to a totally different web site.

It makes no sense. It's not like I was linking to an inappropriate web site, and not all the links were re-spelled either.

Why censor immigration related links or information passed between members via PM or listed in their sig? This is an immigration forum is it not? What is so wrong with actually sharing information that could help others in the immigration process we are going through...this is the main reason we are here isn't it?
