Hello All,

I recently found this sight and wished I knew about it before I filed.  I think my package is complete but definitely not to the extent some of you have prepared.  To Doyle1292, congrats on your speedy appoval!

I received my NOA1 on 06/27.  Timeline forecasts Jan 2019 for me.  The long wait begins/continues.  Good luck everyone.

Best advice I can give u. Stay busy!!!!!!!

just over 6 months for myself and looking back it’s been pretty quick. But, I stayed busy doing projects around the house, working, searching for more info, helping friends, (did I mention working?)

dont sit there begging for  approval asap. Most it won’t happen for. A select few will get lucky tho.

Keep ur heads up and look on the bright side of it all.

1 day u will look back at this and be like (sh*t, did all the worrying for nothing). Lol

good luck Junies👍💪🤪

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Absolutely!! I would say even the 60 days have gone fast. I hope I am saying the same thing in December. But absolutely keeping busy, friends, family, dog, and who could forget WORK 80% of my time haha. Love the encouragement, thank you so much!

Thank you! Keep myself busy is the best way for this visa journey! I work and teach girl who replace me, spend time with family and my cat, friends, go to English class, work with personal trainer in gym (I have to have perfect look on the wedding). To be honest I am surprised how fast run these 2 months. I hope next 4 months will run faster! And this waiting worth happy future which we all will get.

Hey guys, another June filer here 👋

Loved everyone's tips on staying busy, I really feel like I need to stop thinking so much about this!! I'm in the visa-obsessed stage.

May December come soon for all of us 🙏

Find something to get ur mind off the visa. If u don’t u will go nuts before ur time nears. U have minimal 4 more months. About 1/3 of the way thru the waiting period. Use this time to gather things for noa2. Or at least have a plan in place to get things done in a timely matter.

Thank you so much for your advice. It really helped me realize 4 months is really not that long! 😁 😁

Hi All,

USCIS received my i129f package on 6/29/2018 and approved it on 7/29/2018. I just received the i797 in the mail today (the status did not update on the website yet). I am petitioning to bring my Cuban fiancee to the U.S., and I sent a very much front-loaded and well organized accordion folder as my i129f package. This was sent to the California Service Center and somehow got approved in one month's time- not sure if it was purely luck, or if the very thorough and organized nature of the submission helped. Just figured I'd post here to inspire some hope that the 5-7 month timeline might be shorter than you expect!

Hello everyone

I wanted to know if the petitioner changes his job will that affect the k-1 process?? Because my fiance (petitioner) got another job. Is this a problem?

No, you or the petitioner, (if he can be at the interview with you) will have to explain the job change at the interview in the US consulate. Don't worry, you are Fine
