Not sure my screen shot came through (sorry- I'm a newbie!), so I'm resending attachment in case it's helpful.

USCIS screenshot.jpeg

Okay this goes out to everyone with this kind of Status on their case.

I had this status on my case till my petition was finally approved.

I was so paranoid and scared thinking that USCIS wouldn't process my case.

Not being able to RECEIVE YOUR NOA1 IN THE MAIL DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR PETITION PROCESSING!

However, I had to change my address to a more reliable destination as the previous address I used was difficult to deliver to.

I finally received both my NOA1 and NOA2 in the mail on the same day.

So do not panic, just ensure your address is valid.

Thank you for the testimonial and assurance, Drsmile!

Question, did that status change to "Approved" before you got NOA2 in your mail, or did it stay on "Undeliverable?" and you didn't know about approval until physical NOA2 showed up?

Thank you.

That one is different than the other one that was posted. That one said if you do not file an e-request then the petition will be destroyed and they would have to submit another I-129F with fee. Regardless in either case I would not sit back and assume everything is ok with the petition.

Thank you.

I received a text message to confirm my NOA2 on November 23rd and my case status also changed to APPROVED immediately.

I was even more surprised to receive both NOA1 and NOA2 in the mail few days after.

No it is not different. I had the same message "if you do not file an e-request then the petition will be destroyed" on my case status until it was finally Approved.

I also emphasized that I had to change my address.

You need to know why USCIS couldn't deliver your mail.

Sorry, I did not see your screenshot only the ones from @FlyingPan and @BigWill, I apologize I must have missed yours . It just looks like the 2 I mentioned are different to me. One saying that mail was returned and saying that if you do not request the document by January 15, 2019 the I-129F would be destroyed and a new I-129F would need to be submitted with fee (the screen shot did not show a receipt number) and the other saying the mail was undeliverable and not having that disclosure about destroying the I-129F but having a receipt number.

Yes you are right.

The two screenshots were taken from the old website and the new website,  hence the difference.

I got something similar, but a little different from the new site (no threat included about discarding petition).  In my case (NOA1 June 27), I didn't initially get my NOA1 hardcopy letter.   In late July, I saw this Undeliverable status, and I assumed this was referring to my NOA1.   I found the USCIS document request site confusing (felt like the site was asking me to tell it what document I was missing versus the other way around), so I called USCIS.  Rep said my case was 'Received' state, and could not tell me what this Undeliverable message was in reference to.  I told him I hadn't received my NOA1, and he told me to wait till Aug 1 and then call back if I hadn't received it- which I didn't.  I eventually called back, and new hardcopy NOA1 was sent on 8/15- which I did receive this time.

This whole process has me a little paranoid.  On the old site, I'm showing Case is Received.  On new site, status says Document was Returned as Undeliverable.  When I call,  the automated recording says Case is Received.  When I spoke to an actual rep last week, the last update they show is that a document was mailed to me on 8/15  (oddly he couldn't tell me which document had been mailed to me- I guess their system isn't that informative), and case was still in Received state.     Definitely give them a call and see what you can decipher, and let us know what happens.

Hey, I have a question regarding „undeliverability”...what sort of address problem was on your side?

We have our mailing address actually placed overseas. And we did got our NOA1 delivered here. But now I am kinda, I guess, a bit concerned.

Anyhow... Sending positive thoughts all the way! :)
