If you compare the two texts you will see that they no longer encourage people to call them. We all have amended into now, me being no exception. That's not because we called, they've just updated the response throughout the whole system. That is, for untouched cases

Anyone else got this  alert from the app??

The app and the new website both ignore me and never ever send me any alerts, though I am well subscribed to them. Had you not had posted your alert, I would have never known. But now that I've checked, I am right there with you

yes. they took the phone number out of the alert so people don’t call anymore. which is kinda stupid cause we already have their number and still can call lol

For me, they better get back to work. They have too much of a workload to spend time on the phone

NOA 1 is June 1.

I did expediate request in September which was denied on late October.  Does anybody know if denied expediate request further delays normal processing of my case?

Thanks.

OK, now I've got the 'don't call us' alert through 'USCIS App', the 'Case Tracker' remains silent

My "case tracker" didn't say anything about this change either.

Case tracker might be keeping an eye on "Case was received" status part only and that will change anyway once we have a meaningful change (approval).

I believe it does because they pull your file and once they deny it, it goes on the back of the pile.  I also did an expedite and believe I made a huge mistake cause 175days and waiting. (Noa1 6-7-18)

I included an expedite request in my original packet (NOA1 June 4 old site/June 7 new site). Of course I did not get a response. So I had my Senator contact USCIS on my behalf. They sent a letter July 13th denying my request to my Senator. I see many approved before/after my date on the app so I am thinking it may have delayed it somewhat. No one knows for sure, but the waiting is driving me crazy and I am looking for excuses.

This evening the new website emailed me a digital code I didn't ask for as I wasn't trying to log in... And nothing was updated for sure

I posted about this earlier. I got 7 codes in rapid succession that I hadn't asked for)))

Finally done...

What you are experiencing is normal processing during these times. USCIS is advertising 6-7 months so you are still in normal processing times. Calling will not move your file along any faster. And, don't be alarmed if others get approved before you as this is normal to.

When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

You didn't make a mistake in requesting your case be expedited. That has absolutely no baring on your original application. None, nada, zip, zero. You are still within normal processing times. USCIS is advertising 6-7 months. Your just coming up to it.

Ok, I’m going to unsubscribe to this thread for awhile. All this hoping and anxiously waiting and commenting is wearing me out.  I do better when I just ignore all that and expect that I won’t hear anything until next year. 😌

NOA1 June 21 for me.  NOA2 will happen when it happens.

:pop: 👍

This I have been advocating for years. You are doing the right thing. When it happens it will happen. I couldn't agree more. Put fun back in your life. You deserve it.

I belive you are talking about the second factor codes.  I had requested one to login the night before and got one next morning.  So Maybe they were stuck somehow and came later.

Did you try to login some time before like me?  If not, it could be something else on their side.

We have previously logged in successfully, but this time code/s arrived when not requested. At least I was busy and didn't try to log in. Just saw an email on my smart watch
