5 months gone now! Hoping for an approval before Christmas. Checking the sites daily, and unfortunately the mailing address is to my fiance's parents house so I can't bug him to check the mail every day 🙄

Going to sort out my vaccination records and police report over the next week, before everyone gets caught up in Christmas mode, (including me)

Has anyone started clearing out their stuff to move? My fiance tried to give me a 3 suitcase limit but no hope of that happening... I'd be lucky to have it cut down to 6.

I also feel guilty about leaving my family sometimes,  but trying to reassure them that Dublin to New York is really not a big trip compared to some.

Hope everyones wait is going ok, hopefully we're all about halfway through the process of filing noa1 to entering the US.

so nice to have another irish person here! literally just applied for my police report at the weekend, its super easier, way easier than applying for garda clearance.

Threw out like 6 bags of stuff but still have a tonne-Matt has started to clear stuff out in tennessee to make room for all my stuff!

Finally, someone else who's purging their belongings before they make the move. I jokingly call it operation fit my life in 2 suitcases! As majority of my things are electronics which we've slowly replaced over the past year I won't have much trouble. I've done a few trips and slowly moved clothes as I've gone out there, go out with 20kgs, return with like 6 ... it seems to work.

The police record is the only bit I have left to do now, so hopefully that goes without any issues or delays. I received one like 5 months ago from work for my security clearance and obviously that'll expire like a few weeks before we need it.

Vaccinations will be complete tomorrow!

The distance seems large, I mean I'll be moving to Michigan from Hull (North-east UK), but my family all know it's only an 8 Hour flight and it's all direct so they're not that hard done too. It's sort of close to the other side of the world, but you can make it within 1 day should anyone need to.

I hope you'll hear something before Christmas too. That's our hoping too!

Vaccinations will be complete tomorrow! Be sure to get a receipt and present at your medical. Also, be sure they are transposed to the DS-3025 so you won't have the headache once you begin filing the AOS after marriage as this document needs to be complete without fail or face additional time and expense to correct. I've attached a copy of the form so that you will have and idea if you are perplexed as to what the form looks like.

As it currently stands, I'm hoping to have my medical done before March next year, so I paid like £9.70 for this seasons flu jab.

Dipteria, Tetanus thankfully I get for free tomorrow (22nd Nov) on the NHS as I haven't had 3 in my lifetime (to class as immunised) and the last one I had was greater than 10 years ago.

Chicken pox I found out I had when I was younger so that should waiver the requirement for Varicella.

Even if when I get there and it turns out I need more (I don't believe I do from checking my records but...I'm no consulate doctor so) I've saved a good little bit I hope

Looks like the approval's for the next shipping batch are starting to appear just as predicted. Today, Friday and Monday will be many approvals. Some happy campers soon. imageproxy.php?img=&key=ea9668e88603f7d4

Oh I sure hope so!

And many apologies I missed your comments on your initial reply.

Thank you, I have kept the receipts from the flu vaccination, they also sent a report to my GPand as it is my GP who will be carrying out the DT vaccination tomorrow, this will be instantly available on my vaccination patient summary report. One more visit to the docs to ensure I have an updated patient summary and also a report for my (very mild - 1 inhaler every 6-7 Months) Asthma.

I've seen a lot of responses from you and your knowledge base is crazy, across so many embassies, thank you again

Thank you.

Over the years I have massed a lot of information from the questions that are asked an answered. Then down the line when they are asked again I can answer with a simple cut and paste. It's kind of like the wizard behind the curtain (reference to the movie Wizard of Oz) I seem bigger then I am. :jest:

So Wizard, the DS-3025, that's completed during the Medical interview at the embassy right?

I think other than the medical, we have almost everything together. (Criminal record stuff is about there, photographs to receive and that's it but we're waiting for NOA2).
