Can you show me how to check the case status with the new website? Thank you.

I was able to register and login only. Not sure how to go from there.

Click on the "my uscis" tab after you're in. Here is how it looks on my screen once I'm in.

Do you know any link that shows which vaccinations are required? Thanks!

You have two choices. First is to get your vaccinations done there in your country as they are usually cheaper. Second is not to vaccinations but you will need them once you start your AOS submittal. At that time you will need to see a "civil surgeon" for them to either administer your vaccinations or to transpose them to the I-693 for your AOS package. CS will charge you any where from $75 - $250 for this service. Either way you must have vaccinations to complete your AOS for the 2 year green card.

From the Form I-693 instructions (page 6-7):

"Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the Part 7. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1., 2., 4., and 7. of Form I-693."

@ns7 @Ishelle @Wilson KE @ktd Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Hello,

I only have the UK requirements for vaccinations which are as follows:

If you are over 18 years old, it is the four shots.

  • Mumps/Measles/Rubella (MMR) 2 in your life
  • Tetanus/Diptheria/Pertussis (Tdap) or Tetanus/Diptheria (Td) One must be in last 10 years
  • Flu (between Oct 1and Mar 31)
  • Varicalla (waived if you had chickenpox)

You may have had Polio tacked on to your childhood Tetanus/Diptheria/Pertussis. It's okay as long as the three required diseases are covered in it. Some read DTP+Polio

But for any other countries I'm unable to comment on sorry. But I see someone has already replied with good informative links for you.

Let's hope for more good early news for the June filers!

In fact they are encouraged but not required https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/vaccinations.html

They will be required to adjust status to LPR after marriage. Please also note they are age-specific, someone at 15, 25, and 45 will need different shots.

So, I’m guessing my fiancé will know only after going to the physician whom the Embassy works with? Which will only happen after the Embassy receives his file? Or can he go ahead and visit the doctor before? Thank you for your time.

I thought I have the necessary info on my profile. I’m the petitioner and it’s asking which country I’m immigrating from. I chose the country my fiancé will be immigrating from. What else is missing on my profile that you needed to see to help us?

He may schedule his medical with approved physician once you've called NVC and gotten your case number way before it actually gets to the embassy. However I discussed my shots with my physician a few days ago. It really doesn't matter who administers vaccinations in his home country, let him just have a record at his medical

You completed it correctly. The country you choose is the one that the embassy is in that the beneficiary will be interviewing at.

You seem a little perplexed on what to do. I recommend that you do a little shopping for price comparisons. Use the links below for more information specific to your location. I would also call around to Drs. or anywhere they dispense vaccinations and inquire to the costs. Now you have a comparison for your personal situation. We all have opinions but best is to research on your own. Use the link for those vaccinations that are required and then determine what you have had or not had.
