Hello @Greenbaum and anyone else that is really good at this whole K1 thing...

Where is the best place to read on the next steps to take once we receive our approvals? I am a worry wart so I HAVE to take things one step at a time or I will really really stress myself out. You should have seen me trying to get the packet ready to ship (OH MY LORD HAHA)! So now that I know the next step is coming at any give day, can you or someone direct me to the best way my fiance from Brazil can prepare for what is to come? I think it goes to something called NVC and etc... I am trying to breath and remember that in about 3 months all of this will be water under the bridge and the best is yet to come. I hope everyone gets the answers they need in the next few weeks!

One more item that we need your attention to. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Random question: Are most of you going by your NOA1 date from the old site or the new site?

It really doesn't matter. If you are updating your timeline you can use either as it is not going to make a big difference either way.

Hello June filers!  :) This is my first time posting on this thread. I am an in-betweener as we sent our file on May 30th and on the website it says they received our file on June 1st. :) I'm hoping we will also be part of the lucky ones who hears something soon. We are so close June filers!! :) All the waiting will be worth it for our loved ones. I wish everyone happiness and good news for the weeks to come and see more approvals on this thread! :) 😍

Welcome and glad you are here.

The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire anytime before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Notice date on your I-797C is your N(otice)OA1 date. It usually matches the date on "new" site.

Where were you able to retrieve this list? Are the applicants updating it or is it directly from USCIS?

Guys. If you respond to a post and it has a graphic, there is no need to continue showing that graphic. If you select the graphic and hit your backspace or delete key it will erase the graphic only. Their text will remain so that you have a reference for others to see what you are reacting to. Makes for a cleaner thread. Thanks.

Hello House and Greenbaum, please I need you to help me with an adequate information on this.

USCIS sent the hardcopy of my NOA1 twice but it was returned because my fiancee wasn't around to receive it.

Here is my question, will it affect my NOA2?

My current status shows that my DOCUMENT WAS RETURNED TO USCIS.
