Not strictly true, they go by receipt date and all of those approved so far had receipt dates end of March and NOA1 beginning of April so a way to go yet.

ย

Hang in there, keep busy, prepare and as a great long term .member here said recently said, focus on your love not the process cos this gets very stressful at times and has seen some very good couples give up because of it,

ย

Enjoy this bit while you wait knowing you'll get there and prepare what you can.ย  The busy stressful time will come soon enough and then you'll be praying for time!!

I know but when I sent my file they were working with November files so just to see even one from April makes me excited and means is not too far, of course I know I'll hear something in December or January but we are getting closer ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Really? Can we start getting police certificate and medical reports already? They donโ€™t have estimated times?

First, check it with the Embassy. Usually the info is on the website.ย

ย

For example, I cannot schedule the medical appointment prior Embassy getting my case. On the other hand, the police report is valid a year and I can basically get it on demend ย within couple of minutes.ย

Don't expect your approval NOA2 until 1/2019 as it has been running for about 6.5 to 7 months for approvals.

ย

Here are some important tips and tools to use to help track your timeline and prepare for your NOA2.ย

Greenbaum's Tips: If you select your flag in your profile from the left column you'll land on your country's profile page. Here there are man tools from which you can select that will answer many of your questions.ย

ย

Select Consulate information to get an idea of what is required for your Embassy interview.

Select Counslate Reviews to learn about the experiences of others who had their interview at your Embassy.

Select Visa Timelines to follow others from your country who also are applying. A good way to establish a "buddy system" to help with questions.

Select K-1 Timelines when you scroll down about 50% of the page and on the left side, you will see this option. This will show you the progress of 12 other timelines that are close to you from your country. If you scroll down a little further you will see a "spreadsheet" showing valuable information. Select to follow those 12 and get updates whenever their files are updated. Gives you a good idea where you are in comparison to others.

Select Immigration Timelines at the top from the blue ribbon that stretches across the page. Here you can follow, much like the K-1 timeline tip I gave above but now you are looking at those from other countries that are close to your timeline.

Before you get your police reports check how long since issued your medical/embassy will accept them. for example, UK embassy wants them issued within the last 6 months and .medical reports too far out may need more recent information adding.

ย

have a look at your country based forums to check the interview backlogs, I know in the uk/Russia .and Canada at the moment there's approx. 8 week backlogs.

Our receipt date was April 20, NOA1 25, I just applied for my police report now. .

So true!! Philippines your police reports and local police reports (NBI) cannot be older than 6 months.
