Was the naturalisation just a copy or the co sponsor lend you the original for the interview? that´s my main doubt.

And i also had my co sponsor’s passport copy. I think that is enough to satisfy a CO am i right?

I had my interview on jan 31. Interview went very well i had a sponsor and joint sponsor along with me at the day of interview. CO gave me 221g and said i am putting you in AP and i will review your case. After the interview my case date updated two times. Consecutive feb 11 and 12.7978F19C-C9D6-45BC-B6A6-E418357486CE.thumb.jpeg.ad0e4adbb66cafc7facd6d9b6fbb06af.jpeg

@Greenbaum sir can you please help for this? Interview went really well and the CO was in very good mood as well.

That was definitely a copy. Why it would be original?

Good to know that! In argentina the US Embassy asks copies for the packet 3 with proof of relationship, affidavits, etc. But at the interview you should have all the originals of the copies you have sent to the embassy, so I thought we needed the original citizenship document from co sponsor + the rest of the affidavit original proof. Thanks so much, we will get just a copy signed then 😃

Yeah you dont need to give any original document unless the CO ask. And in pakistan they didn’t ask for any thing in packet 3 but they sent an email for packet 3 to bring all the adocuments which is asked in packet 3 for the interview.

The fact that you felt good about the interview and the mood of the CO was something you observed to be positive does not necessarily deny or approve a visa. The CO has some additional reviews to do and once they are complete the embassy will be back in touch with you.

Now I am beginning to see a lot of VJ'rs getting this document with the same reason. Some are adjudicated within 30 days where others have gone 4-6 months. I am going to give you the same answer and that is you need more patience. No one with any certainty can tell you when you will get your visa or hear from the embassy. Sorry, just more of this :clock:

Can any one tell me what is this and why CO highlighted those words like economy solvency.

It just means that what is in the column following the highlighted text is used to meet the "yellow" text. Since none of the items below are checked their is nothing that you need to do.

So we are deliberately spoiling the statistics for Ukraine here on VJ ;) with embassy email dated 01/30 we could have done the interview weeks ago but we are following our own schedule.

We have just had our medical. Waiting for the results (kid's are taking longer) and interview scheduled for 03/18 so that fiance may come join us and stay for a little vacation together. So far so good.

I feel you - we were also on our own schedule once the paperwork left NVC ;)

Wanted to let everyone know that my fiance crossed the border at San Ysidro POE/Tijuana on Saturday. We drove by car across from the apartment we share in Baja. We arrived at the line a little after 7am, then waited about an hour in line, then another 90 minutes in the office of CBP to get the paperwork processed. The people in the office really had a difficult time doing the paperwork because they didn't have much experience with a K visa. Although nerve wracking, there was never any real issue and everyone was very friendly. Since I cross the border several times a week with a SENTRI pass, I know the attitude of some of the CBP officers. After a few stops to eat and to visit my parents, we ended up getting married in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles (you can get married in LA county without going to the courthouse) around 6pm. We already have our marriage license copy (just waiting on the certified copy which takes 6 weeks).

NOA1 June 4

NOA2 November 30

Interview January 29

Marriage & arrival December 23

Thanks to everyone for their help...I spent countless hours researching and reading here. Now time for AOS.

Congratulations. Now onto the next steps.

Here is the instructions to follow for Germany.

https://de.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/21/Instructions-for-IV-and-K-Visa-Applicants-1.pdf

Here is some information provided by another applicant from Germany. Maybe it will be helpful.

Visa Payment System information:

There is indeed a cash pay option but i wanted to do it online so i clicked on the "provide feedback" option and explained my situation and they said to wait 24 hours as well! Here is what they said about the cards: "In addition, please note that our payment gateway is set-up to process the following branded cards:

1. VISA Debit

2. VISA Electron

3. MasterCard Debit

4. Maestro

Just because a card is branded with VISA/MasterCard does not automatically mean it is a debit card. Many of the refusals we have seen are V/MC branded Credit Cards which we never accept.

In addition, there are a number of domestic debit card schemes that are available in the region. Each of these card schemes must have the following features to be accepted online:

1. Co-branded with VISA/MasterCard(Maestro) – i.e. they must have one of these logos on the card.

2. Contain a CVV number (this is the three digit number on the back of the card).

If they do not have both these features, they will not be accepted. "
