OK, so my husband got his K-1 visa and finally arrived at the first of April and we went to the courthouse for our marriage license so that part is behind us... I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed now looking at all the forms required to adjust status now that he's here. I don't know if I even know where to begin. I've printed off the forms I-485, I-864, G-325A and I-765 and I guess we'll start filling this BOOK out tonight.

Good luck!!! Ian came over here on the K-3 and I'll tell you, the forms for AOS really overwhelmed me, but you know what? It's not as bad as you think. It was actually a lot easier then I thought because most of it was repetative anyway. Just make sure to send everything that they ask. We ended up getting an RFE because when I sent in the I-485, I wasn't working. We were just using Ian's assets. But when we got the RFE, I was already like a month into work so I sent them proof (my pay stubs, and a letter from head office stating my salary and my position).

Good luck...and remember to relax and enjoy your life together...the paperwork is nothing!!!

Like other VJ members have suggested, just read the Guides section on AOS and you will get plenty of information that you will need.

Good luck with your process!! It's not too bad at all. Just start with what you have to send in I-485 and it's contents and then decide if you want the EAD or AP and then go through the forms for them. My very dear friend throughout the process was the example forms http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=examples lol... once you've read over the forms a few times you've got it and we're always here if the guides don't answer the questions you still have.
