Hi Everyone, :help:

I came to the United States on K3 visa. I submitted my I485 based on marriage in Oct 10, 2006 at Chicago IL office, while my local office is Washington DC.

I called them once before, they told me that my case will process in Chicago office. If they will move my case to Washington DC they will let me know, but now when the processing dates for Chicago is 13 October, I called them and asked about my case status, they told me, that my case should be process in my local DC office.

My question is that, which office will process my AOS application?

So I can keep my eyes on processing date for that office.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

You sent it to Chicago? I was under the impression that all the forms had to be sent to Missouri. That is where I sent mine and Ian is done for now with his AOS. Our next step to life the conditions of his residency at the end of 2008. It also seems odd that it is taking so long. Have you gotten an RFE at all???

shahidwazir,

You submitted your I-485 to the Chicago lockbox, which is the receiving station (offsite mailroom and clerical station) for the National Benefits Center in Missouri. It is not a USCIS "office".

Your application will not be processed in Chicago, it will be partially processed at the NBC and then will be sent either to the CSC or your local District or Sub office for completion depending on whether or not an interview will be required.
