I'm not in the States yet but I already know that I won't bring my stereo sytem and I know that I'll miss it dearly.

I'm still not sure if I should bring some things that I'm really emotionally attached too - things like the first toy that my mom gave me when I was a baby. I don't know if that will make me REALLY sad and miss my family when I look at it or if it'll help me to have a part of my "old home" with me.... . :(

Take at least some of them Sandra... you may not want to look at them right away but at some point you'll really wish you still had them (like my paintings...) I left all the big sentimental stuff behind but I brought two boxes of small items with personal significance and they remind me of good times and the people who gave them to me.
