Hi everyone,

 

My 24 year old son filed his I-751 last June 2018. Last Aug 1st, he received an update on the new site. 

 

Question: We are kinda confused,  is the new office will be the one who will do the interview or is his case was transferred to a new office just like what happened to my case (April 2018 California office filer/ March 2019 transferred to Nebraska/ RFE received by Nebraska June 18 2019 - no update until now)?

 

Im worried for my son.

I recommend you provide all statements available since adding your spouse to the joint accounts. In any case, it should be more than just a recent statement. It should  show activity such as deposit (such as payroll deposit from work) and transactions from you and your spouse.

 

An official IRS tax return transcript from the last four years is good, although I think three is sufficient since you probably provided the same transcript when you filed I-485 AOS. The transcript should show filing status: Married Filing Joint, with both of you and your spouse on it.

Thank you for the information Bokim, the problem with the joint bank account is that we just opened it a few weeks ago so we are only gonna have the first statement for July but everything else we have is good. In the RFE we received they asked for a copy of our marriage certificate so we are sending it too.

Thanks, your approval will be soon. I got my card production notice on the DHS site. Uscis site still says case transferred to new jurisdiction.
