The status of this service request is:

Records show that your Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) is still pending consideration at this time.  A Permanent Resident Card (PRC) can only be issued after your Form I-751 has been approved by USCIS.

Your Form I-751 was received by the Vermont Service Center (VSC) on June 13, 2018, and we are currently processing I-751 petitions that were received on December 29, 2017.  The current processing times at the VSC are available on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov.  You may wish to inquire on your case status again in 90 days.

Please note that the Receipt Notice (Form I-797) for your Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) lawfully extends your conditional permanent resident status for 18 months beyond the expiration date shown on your Conditional Permanent Resident Card.  This document confers all of the same benefits you had during the conditional two-year period, including work authorization and travel.   Be advised that if you wish to travel outside the United States during the processing of your Form I-751, you must possess your expired Conditional Permanent Resident Card, passport, and an original I-751 Receipt Notice (Form I-797).

If your two-year Green Card has expired and you need evidence of your permanent resident status before the receipt notice arrives, you may schedule an appointment online or by calling the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Potomac transfer seems to be a snooze fest. It's almost 3 months since the transfer and no news yet.

I was just thinking the same. Day 75 for me Nothing!  I used to see people to hear something back 30 to 60 days after transfer

It's just frustrating at this point.

Same, May10th transfer too. When my case went to Vermont, it was going at a good speed; 9 months. Then that slowed down to 13 months. Potomac was delivering within 60 days of a transfer, I get transferred and they slowed down. I know it's not personal, but jeeze it's really frustrating. Traveling causes more anxiety, my employer is uncertain about the extension letter (though, understanding fortunately), and frankly I just want to be able to get on with my life, settle down and stop dealing with this never ending sensation of being transient.

Im still waiting, my status  is the same since

"July 31, 2018

Fingerprint Review Was Completed" n the new site. N the old one "case was transferred" (to Potomac).  :(

.. At this point I am considering apply for n-400 .. At least let's move something else. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just feel anxious due to not having a valid GC ,i know i have the paper,  I just  don't feel safe. 😞

I feel the same about not having a GC :( I'd like to travel to my home and such but I'd rather do it when I have the actual GC and I wouldn't want to miss any letters from USCIS while I'm away.

I wonder if Potomac is moving at all as I haven't seen anyone from other months mentioning about approvals or any updates there.

Hey guys, we just got notification that the GC is being produced. My husband's 751 was transferred to Potomac 5/3/19. I hope that others will start to see their cases process. We had no RFE, and no interview. Although, I would imagine that if there had been an interview we would have been transferred to NYC, our local, which did not happen. Thank God!!!!

I expect that on Monday we will recieve the notification of the approval on Monday, seems the usual process I have seen with others. I saw someone in MN get their card produce notification last friday, their approval notification on Monday, and recieved their card in hand on Wednesday. Hoping the same for my husband.

Good Luck to all. Boa sorte tudo!!!!

Our I-751 joint petition was approved today (7/24/2019) from CSC. No RFE or interview. It was approved exactly seven days after biometrics appointment date (7/16/2019). Our case # is WAC182135****

Here is a list documents we included from our cover page:

  • Copy of permanent resident card of petitioner.
  • Copy of our IRS joint tax return transcript for year 2015, 2016 and 2017.
  • Copy of our joint checking account statement from March 2017 through May 2018.
  • Copy of our driver licenses with same address, our health plan card, our shared checking account debit card.
  • Copy of airline tickets we took together to attend a friend’s wedding (actual scan of return plane tickets showing US citizen and petitioner's name).
  • Copy of our auto insurance policy listing petitioner as insured driver.
  • Copy of our recent joint electricity bill.
  • Current benefit statement from US citizen's company listing medical, dental and vision benefit for petitioner.
  • Pictures we have taken together with family and friends throughout the years we’ve been married (10 pictures).

We didn't include the 'kitchen sink' and could've provided a lot more documents such as 401k beneficiary, deed, will, etc...--but glad they were accepted and approved our petition. Good luck everyone!

Was never able to track case status via the old USCIS case status website (egov.uscis.gov). Received "Validation Error(s)" when searched for WAC********** case number. However, the website was updated with "New Card is Being Produced" only after the petition was approved. The new case status website (my.uscis.gov) still hasn't updated with case approved. Only displaying the following:

Fingerprint Review    March 8, 2019
Case Was Received    June 27, 2018

So I notice that the cases getting approved within a week after the update (fingerprint review was complete)are the ones with the status update “

We completed our review of your fingerprints and are continuing to work on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.”

and the ones pending even after biometrics are the ones with the status update

we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence”

Just my opinion

Form I-751 status is still "Fingerprint review was completed" as of July 15th. I am currently working on my N-400 and I was just wondering, one of the requirements is a photocopy of the GC. Will it be alright to send a copy of the expired GC together with the I-751 Receipt Notice of extension or should I just wait for the new GC to get to me?

Congrats on all the new approvals!

I got approved last week and since I'm currently abroad I am not able to check my mail, I get to see usps emails though. Since I got approved I got three different letters from USCIS: one I presumed is the notification letter, then the card,  and what would it be the third one? Have you received anything else? That one is in my mail today and I wasn't expecting anything else from them.

AOS/EAD/AP Process:

I-485/I-130/I-131/ I-765 Packet Sent: 04/21/2016 (Sent to Chicago, IL Lockbox)

NOA1 Received (Electronic notices): 05/13/16 (all 4) [day 18]

Biometricts Letter Received : 06/10/2016 [day 46]

Biometricts walk-in : 06/14/2016 [day 50]

Case updated online (RFIE i-485): 06/18/2016 [day 54]

Received RFIE letter: 06/23/2016 [day 59]

Is there any way one can travel out of the country if the 18months extension letter has expired and the new green card is still pending?

Yes. You would need to request an appointment at a USCIS office for an I551 stamp in your passport. this extends your pending status for an additional period of time.

It should suffice as it is the current proof of your current status. Others have been submitting the same as that and I have not heard of anyone's N-400 being rejected for that reason.
