Oh, interesting - has something happened today in particular? VJ emailed me to say it's likely to be October, and the USCIS emailed me to tell me nothing has happened yet. :(

USCIS emailed us that nothing has happened about 30 minutes after we'd been notified that a card had produced. The notification system is often behind so keep the faith! :)

For what it's worth, we were prepared to file the N-400 before we'd received the approval. However, once we knew my wife had been approved we waited for her physical card before submitting the online application (way easier than the paper format, as it walks you through what's needed). We didn't want to chance her card being waylaid, though we admit to being a bit paranoid about that. Upside was attaching a copy of her 10yr card, rather than the Conditional, to the required documents section. You can do either way, as long as you're at least within your 90-day advance filing period. You'll probably receive the 10yr card this week.

Newark is my hometown! Not that means much to you. :)

Everyone's appointment date differs depending on what office they are sending you to. I'm in West Palm Beach like you and I know they do not have a crazy backlog and accept walk-ins at the Application Center on Congress Ave. You only know the biometrics appt date when you get the actual letter.....could be one week from the date on the letter....could be two weeks.

I know a couple who was out of the country at the time when they got biometrics appt and they had to reschedule it several times which caused a delay in the application approval process.

Thanks! I guess it'll delay everything because I'm abroad doing research and won't be back until August...such a bad timing for me!!!

Do you recommend attorney option option than filing myself

@New Yorker 82 You'll answer a lot of questions similar to those in the ROC filing, plus a few additional. Nothing complicated.

The documents requested included (limited to 5 or 6 MBs per upload):

Foreign spouse's green card

US spouse's proof of citizenship (birth certificate or passport's signature and bio pages)

Marriage certificate

Proof of name change (if any)

Children's information and birth certificates (if any)

Criminal history documents (if any)

3yrs tax returns or transcripts

Proof of life co-mingling and any additional proof you want to submit; same as ROC - bills, deeds, leases, insurances, wills...whatever you have. We also included a "photo album" that we'd created in Powerpoint with captions and submitted as a PDF. We updated it to include additional photos from the time of ROC.

You can scan and upload the documents or take (clear) photos and upload those.

We did not worry with affidavits of support, this time. They could have been included in the additional docs section, but were not specifically requested.

To be honest, we spent money on a lawyer for previous filings, but we didn't need to. Unless you have a complication, you can do the online application, yourself. It took me about an hour to do the initial application in full. I'd already gathered digital copies of what was needed based on reviewing the paper instructions, and then scanned a few more during the process. It took maybe another 30 minutes a few days later, to review the application to our satisfaction and update it with the information I'd missed. I recommend that you find a copy of your previous ROC application, to facilitate the answers to similar questions, and gather the documents I've listed above, at least. If I've forgotten anything, you can save the online application, get the rest, and return to it before paying and submitting. You'll also be given a chance to review what you've input before payment and submission, to make sure you're satisfied and haven't missed anything (I actually forgot to input my wife's 5yr employment history, but we caught it on the review).

Even if you start the online application and later find that it's overwhelming, you can abort it and do a paper filing. The online application is saved for 30 days from the date of start, before it's purged, if you don't pay and submit.

That's one of the questions you'll need to answer, so be sure to have the dates of each trip available. The system will calculate your total time outside of the U.S. to verify qualification.

NADA. Both sites are showing Case transferred to Nebraska in Mid May. Fingerprints waived on March 8th.

Absolutely no updates in last 6 weeks!

I guess I spoke too soon. Within the last hour, I received the following email (1 day short of my filing anniversary of ROC):

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: WAC18225XXXXX

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On June 24, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC18225XXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Also, the https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ is still stuck at Case transferred status since May 2019. Oddly enough, the old website didn't  even recognize my Receipt # until last month, and now it's the first one to get updated. #SMH

I've seen the trend of many members who got biometrics waived in early 2019 come back to get letters from USCIS for biometrics appointments....you are one of the lucky ones!

I hope so @Amadia cause God knows I am TIRED of waiting.

Hey they messaged me today saying they received my inquiry and they are processing people before me. Hopefully I will get approved this week since tomorrow is officially 1 year since  my case was received.
