Thanks for the previous replies regarding my question about the affidavits from friends. We ended up including them, but not notarized or sworn. Our application package was 3 inches thick in the end and I'm confident we provided good evidence.  We sent it out yesterday and it arrived in Vermont today and was signed for by L. Zuchowksi.

Do you plan to apply for citizenship at the 3 year mark? Or will you wait until this 751 is finished? We plan to send the I-400 next March which will be 3 month before our 3yr mark. I am researching through posts to see how many feel it faster vs. how many slower. There are many different opinions when it comes to this subject.

I don’t know why... I’ve always been CSC in both states I have lived. So I don’t know what feels like to be VSC. I’m not really sure about the citizenship just yet.. I’ll keep following and researching through the next months and see what will be the best thing to do!

In regards to the combo filing of 751 and 400, here is a link to a forum on VJ that I have been reading.

Hi everyone! Just mailed our I-751 packet yesterday to VSC, as we're in the process of relocating to New York. Did the address change online but still hoping nothing gets lost in the shuffle, and for a speedy NOA1. Then the real wait begins.  Best of luck to all!

Joining this thread, as we mailed our I-751 packet on 06/13, to CSC. Here we go... I'm guessing we'll end up trying to file for citizenship before this gets completed. I'll follow the thread posted earlier to see others' experiences on that. Good luck, everyone!

One quick question - I just realize I blocked the SSN in black on my last two year tax return because i was using the 1040 applying for something else. But I also include Tax transcription.  Would that be a problem for the application?
