Well, I got the transfer letter in the mail today. It was transferred to Potomac.

Hopefully, I won't have to wait forever to get approve or get an RFE.

Consider obtaining US Re-Entry Permit. Not only it allows you to return to USA, many countries accept it as equivalent to passport as far as I know. Though I am not legal expert

Thanks 🙂, I already check. I wasn't fully aware of this. I guess it would help me if we want to visit my in-laws in Bolivia, but not for my country because I can't leave without a valid passport.

Could you please tell me the REASON WHY they transferred your case? Online it says that “we’ll sent you a letter explaining the reason” what is the explanation?

Literally just this:

"As part of standard processing, we transferred your case to the USCIS office listed below that has jurisdiction over your case"

@nintendoswitch cases are moved around to balance the workload and for a speedy process.

In case inquisitive minds wanna know.......while the online update just states "We have transferred your case to another USCIS center....blah blah blah", if you call the USCIS hotline and input your case number, it actually tells you which center your case got transferred to without having to wait on the letter.

I called and heard that my case was transferred from CSC to NSC on May 14, 2019.
