We did. It is not required but if you are short on evidnce it can help, I have read.

YAY!, ^_^ We just submitted our packet on 6/11 and tracking shows it was delivered to the California Service Center on 6/13. With the backlog at CSC I wish we were in a state that goes to VSC instead since they are moving a lot faster on ROC...and so the hurry up and wait process with USCIS starts again..ugh. :wacko:

My two years GC expires Aug and I'm going to send package in next week as I feel like time is running out. Nevertheless, the items for package is almost complete.

See below:

Enclosed please find the following documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

 

  • Copies of Permanent Resident card (front & back)

  • Copies of our government issued ID (State and Driver’s License)

  • Copy of our joint Bank statements

  • Copy of our 2017 US tax return transcript. - 1st time we filed jointly since 2016

  • Copy of tenancy lease

  • Copy of our joint car insurance policy from Geico.

  • Copy of our Marriage Certificate.

  • Copies of our son’s Birth and Christening certifications.

  • Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.

  • Copy of our BJ’s Club cards on a joint account.

  • Copies of our airline and accommodations reservations of vacations/trips

  • Two sworn letters of support by friends (U.S. citizen)

  • 25 Photos of family members, friends and us.

I even told a friend to make sure she uses the right form and I go ahead and used the expired one...

I’ll resent it tomorrow.

K1 visa process:

06/01/2013: first met

03/29/2014: started dating

12/31/2014: "engaged"

04/14/2015: sent the package

04/17/2015: NOA 1 (CSC)

05/11/2015: "document returned to USCIS" (NOA1 hardcopy)

05/13/2015: called USCIS

05/28/2015: e-mail: they will mail the NOA1 hardcopy again

06/01/2015: NOA 2 !!

06/06/2015: NOA 2 hard copy

06/08/2015: NOA 1 hard copy (finally...)

06/25/2015: embassy received electronical file

07/16/2015: embassy received physical file

07/17/2015: embassy sent pack 3

currently: waiting for pack 3

How did you guys got the “wrong” form from? I download mines from USCIS website. I hope it doesn’t get returned lol

We received our NOA1 today.  We sent our package on 2 Jun 2018. It was marked delivered by USPS on 4 Jun 2018. The NOA shows received 5 Jun 2018 and notice date of 15 Jun 2018. This is quick and surprising compared to others" posts. Also we applied for a fee waiver with this application which usually takes some extra time according to posts I have read. I am hopeful that this could be a good sign for us. I hope all continues well for all of us in this process.
