@Spacecats I'm sorry if the format listed the data inaccurately...I was only trying to help make it a bit neater.

Thank you @CB & FM for fixing it.

Welcome. It was no problem. If I had known how to set it up with the formatting you used I would have. I just found the template and used it. I like it the way you set it up. It was an easy fix.

@Amadia We are having difficulties adding lines. CSC has filled and one more needs to be added. Are you able to add one or perhaps two or three more lines to each service center group?

Hello everyone. Can I join you guys here and be added to the list please? I sent my package out on the 6/30/2018 and was received by CSC on 7/02/2018. Thank you!

NYA22 above is the one trying to be added. Hope you can help. Thanks.

Article form OP didn't offer anything useful, but I wonder if the QZ article is referring to the update from USCIS earlier this week, which seems to give them more scope to refer fraudulent cases or denied cases to ICE, or issue an NTA.

Let's hope that we all are diligent in our application process to avoid these removal proceddings. We must be super focused on providing all the necessary documents in a timely manner. In this way we can avoid any of this possible removal proceedings. By the way, the article has a link that lets you read the entire policy memorandum (pm) about which it speaks. The one part that offends me is that here in this country we believe innocent until proven guilty but this pm allows for issuing Notice to Appear (NAT) even when someone has only been charged. I hope that none of us have to face this. Be vigilent, focused, and collect all the documents that you can to show your case to be a true and proper case. Have it all available at  any interview, whether you think it necessary or not, so that you can produce it at any request. This is our best defense against these possible processes. Boa sorte tudo!!!!!!

This article is about a chage to policy in regards to who can be issued an NAT (Notice to Appear) which is the start of removal proceedings. This policy just changed 28 Jun 2018. There is a link in the article that will take you to the actual policy memorandum (pm). So the article did provide more substantive inormation then you seem to intimate. Before you dismiss the article, you should read the pm. It is very telling who can possibly fall into this category. I know that you referred to the USCIS statement but did you read the actual pm which is also linked in the statement you mention? Summaries do not always list the greatest of detail.

I did not get to edit this properly so here is my corrected post. I misread some posts as coming from one member versus another and have restated my post to refer to the proper posts. Sorry for any confusion in the prior post.

@missileman

This article is about a chage to policy in regards to who can be issued an NAT (Notice to Appear) which is the start of removal proceedings. This policy just changed 28 Jun 2018. There is a link in the article that will take you to the actual policy memorandum (pm). So the article did provide more substantive inormation then you seem to realize. Before you dismiss the article, you should read the pm. It is very telling who can possibly fall into this category.

Quoting the original post link:

The link is here in this part of the article:

"On June 28, USCIS announced that non-citizens who apply for a “benefit”–such as an extension or change of status, a green card, or citizenship—would be placed in deportation proceedings if that benefit is denied."

The highlighted portion above. It does not work here but does in the article.

Quoting MassStef from above:

Article form OP didn't offer anything useful, but I wonder if the QZ article is referring to the update from USCIS earlier this week, which seems to give them more scope to refer fraudulent cases or denied cases to ICE, or issue an NTA.

@MassSteff

There is a link in the article that will take you to the actual policy memorandum (pm). The article does provide more substantive inormation then you seem to intimate. I know that you referred to the USCIS statement but did you read the actual pm which is also linked in the statement you mention? Summaries do not always list the greatest of detail. It might surprise you who falls into these new catagories added in the pm.
